Ingredients:
1 Apple, cut into bite size pieces
Sprinkle of Cinnamon
Method:
Place apple in a microwave safe bowl, sprinkle with cinnamon, add a few drops of water, and mix until evenly distributed. Cook the apple in the microwave for 1-2 minutes.
Eat as is, or use for a topping for waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, a parfait, over yogurt, cottage cheese, or ice cream. Top with some chopped walnuts or granola for a little extra crunch.
Notes:
I chose not to add sweetener to mine. Feel free to sweeten with a little sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, or honey if you like.
To spice things up a little: feel free to add apple pie or pumpkin spice, or a dash of vanilla for extra flavor.
